Specialised construction activities

Division 43 covers specialised construction — the subcontractor trades. Its groups are demolition and site preparation (43.1), electrical, plumbing and other installation (43.2), building completion and finishing (43.3), specialised works for buildings and civil engineering (43.4, 43.5), intermediation (43.6) and other specialised works (43.9). By company count it is the largest part of construction, highly fragmented, with many micro-firms and modest capital needs.
