Manufacture of other transport equipment

Division 30 covers other transport equipment — everything outside motor vehicles. Its groups are building of ships and boats (30.1), railway locomotives and rolling stock (30.2), air and spacecraft (30.3), military fighting vehicles (30.4) and transport equipment n.e.c. (30.9). In Latvia the core is a few large rail and shipbuilding plants; the rest are small boat builders and niche makers. The gap between heavy plants and tiny workshops is wide.
