Administrative and support service activities

Section O brings together administrative and support services — functions that companies buy in from outside. It has six divisions: rental and leasing (77), recruitment and staffing (78), travel agencies and tour operators (79), investigation and security (80), building maintenance and landscaping (81), and office administration and other business support (82). Some of these are capital-heavy (leasing), others labour-heavy (security, cleaning). Profit margins are mostly low and most companies are small.
