Retail trade

Division 47 is retail — selling goods to the end customer. By company count it is one of the largest divisions in Latvia. It is split by product type: non-specialised retail and supermarkets (47.1), food, drink and tobacco (47.2), fuel (47.3), computing and communications equipment (47.4), other household goods (47.5), cultural and leisure goods (47.6), other specialised retail (47.7) and selling away from shops, including online (47.9). A few grocery and fuel chains earn most of the turnover.
