Activities auxiliary to financial services and insurance activities

Division 66 covers activities auxiliary to finance and insurance. Its groups are activities auxiliary to financial services (66.1), auxiliary to insurance and pensions (66.2) and fund management (66.3). It is the sector's service layer — brokers, agents, fund managers, payment processors and debt collectors. Unlike the financial intermediaries themselves, these are real operating firms with staff and fee income.
